HAMILTON, N.Y. — Tracy Frank is the new chief financial officer (CFO) at Community Memorial Hospital (CMH), the health system announced Thursday.

Frank brings to her new position financial-management experience in the education, agriculture, and health care industries. She most recently served as director of finance and accounting for Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. Frank also previously held leadership roles at regional health-care systems in the Syracuse and Utica markets, according to a CMH news release. One of her prior positions included serving as director of finance at St. Josephs Health, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Frank is well-versed in process improvement initiatives and information system implementations, as well as all aspects of accounting and finance. Her leadership in these roles resulted in financial process improvements, in turn creating operational efficiencies and yielding financial success, CMH said in the release.

The health system contends that as it continues to see record patient volumes and growth through service-line development, Frank will help CMH to improve its financialsustainability.

There are a lot of wonderful initiatives happening at Community Memorial, along with an exceptional leadership team that I am excited to be a part of, Frank said in the release. I have been committed to local not-for-profit organizations throughout my career and have always been grateful for the mentorship and support I have received. I strive to pay it forward as a leader.

Frank, a certified public accountant, holds a bachelors degree in accounting from Clarkson University.

Community Memorial Hospital, a Crouse Health partner, is a critical-access hospital that serves Madison County and parts of Chenango, Oneida, and Onondaga counties with preventive, primary, behavioral, and acute-care services.
