Community Wellness Partners promotes two key senior management officials

Michelle Synakowski

Michelle Synakowski has been promoted to VP of health services. She will be responsible for the overall delivery of quality health and wellness services throughout all levels of care at Community Wellness Partners.

Synakowski began her career at Community Wellness Partners in July 2017. She previously held the position of director of quality systems and corporate compliance, and was responsible for leading initiatives to ensure quality care and services for residents, the organization said in a news release She earned her bachelor’s degree in health services management from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and holds licenses for nursing home administrator and registered nurse, as well as certifications for geriatric scholar, resident assessment coordinator, nurse executive, and master teacher.

Roxanne Cotter

Community Wellness Partners said it has also promoted Roxanne Cotter to chief financial officer. Her primary responsibilities include directing and coordinating finance activities, such as general accounting, resident business services, financial, and statistical reporting for Community Wellness Partners’ affiliate organizations.

Cotter joined LutheranCare in October 1997, and most recently held the position of controller for the LutheranCare Charitable Network and was responsible for the direction and oversight of the financial administration of the organization. She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.

Combining nearly 150 years of service, Community Wellness Partners is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliation of LutheranCare and Presbyterian Homes & Services.
