DeWITT — Atlantic Testing Laboratories (ATL) announced it has obtained certification as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) from the New York State Department of Economic Development, Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development.

“ATL is very pleased to have obtained WBE certification. This will benefit ATL’s long-standing relationships with state, county, and municipal clients, along with our partnerships with architectural, engineering, and construction firms,” Marijean B. Remington, CEO of Atlantic Testing Laboratories, said in a news release.

ATL says it provides a range of technical services, including subsurface investigations, water-based investigations, geotechnical engineering, construction materials engineering and testing, special inspection services, pavement engineering, nondestructive testing, and asbestos and environmental services.

ATL, which is based in DeWitt, was founded in 1967 and also has offices in Canton, Albany, Binghamton, Elmira, Plattsburgh, Poughkeepsie, Rochester, Utica, and Watertown.
