Prior to the merger, Constantine’s title with Partners was business insurance account executive, per the Partners website.
The two firms have been “friends and colleagues for a while now” and had discussed the “synergies, commonalities, and the benefits a merger would bring to both firms,” Constantine says.
Constantine is among the former owners of the Partners firm who also include Don Patterson, Bill Soprano, Phil Wiles, John Carlin, and Chris Hutchings, per the firm’s news release. Constantine declined to disclose how much of the firm each man owned.
Smith Brothers is retaining all of Partners Insurance Agency’s 35 employees in the merger deal, Constantine said.
“The Partners brings us presence in New York and allows personal and commercial clients of the Partners to gain access to additional carriers, coverages and risk-management services. Those who own or operate a business will benefit from our additional value-added services such as; human resources, employee wellbeing, safety, compliance and financial services,” Joe Smith, president & CEO of Smith Brothers Insurance, said in the Partners news release.
