Costello, Cooney & Fearon to move headquarters to downtown Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse–based law firm Costello, Cooney & Fearon, PLLC says it plans to move its headquarters to the Jefferson Clinton Commons in Syracuse’s Armory Square.

The law firm hopes to move to its new location by Oct. 1. Robert Smith, CEO of Costello, Cooney & Fearon, tells CNYBJ in an email.

The firm plans to move its two Syracuse–area offices into the expanded office location at 211 W. Jefferson St. Costello, Cooney & Fearon’s current offices operate at 500 Plum St. in Syracuse’s Franklin Square area and at 5701 W. Genesee St. in Camillus, per the firm’s website.

Costello, Cooney & Fearon has finalized a lease with Jefferson Clinton Commons building owner Washington St. Partners for 35,000 square feet of office space. The 80-employee law firm will be occupying the building’s entire first floor.

John Clark and Brian Balash of Cushman Wakefield/Pyramid Brokerage brokered the transaction, the law firm said.

“We chose the space because it allows for the continued expansion of the firm, which has seen significant growth in recent years, and it is laid out perfectly to reflect the evolution of modern law firm office design,” Smith says.
