Coughlin & Gerhart adds attorney to Pennsylvania office

MONTROSE, PA Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP is expanding its Montrose, Pennsylvaniaoffice with an additional lawyer, support staff, and office space to enable it to better serve the community, the Binghamton–based law firm announced.

Rachael Thomas joined the firm as special counsel effective March 4. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of real estate, estate planning and administration, smallbusiness formation and dissolution, and guardian ad litem services.

We are excited to be growing our Montrose office, Coughlin & Gerhart Managing Partner Rachel Abbott said in a news release. Not only are we expanding our office space at our current location, we are adding Rachael to the firm as special counsel and adding another staff member. Rachaels area of expertise will be a great asset to the firm, enabling Coughlin & Gerhart to offer more legal services to the community.

Thomas will work primarily in the law firms Montrose office, allowing it to offer more legal services to the northeastern Pennsylvania region. The Montrose office offers wills, trusts, estate administration, real estate, business, family law, municipal law, oil and gas litigation, personal-injury services, and general counsel services.

Prior to joining Coughlin & Gerhart, Thomas was a partner of DeWitt & Thomas Law Offices, P.C. in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Susquehanna Bar Association, where she currently serves as secretary of the bar. She also serves on the board of directors for NEPA Community Health Care and the Susquehanna Community School District.

Coughlin & Gerhart, with a team of more than 50 lawyers, has additional locations in Bainbridge, Cortland, Hancock, Ithaca, Owego, and Walton.
