BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP announced that it has re-elected Mark S. Gorgos as managing partner of the Binghamton–based law firm through 2019.
He has been in that position since 2004 and with the firm since 1980. Gorgos’ primary areas of practice include commercial banking and finance transactions, and education and municipal law.
In addition to his active practice and firm management, he currently serves as the chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Finance Committee for the New York State Bar Association. Gorgos is a member of the New York State Appellate Division’s Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial District, serves on Roberson Museum’s Executive Committee, and the board of directors of the Community Foundation for South Central New York.
Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP, which was founded in the 1890s, is a multi-service law firm with more than 45 lawyers. The firm’s main office is located at 99 Corporate Drive in Binghamton, with branch offices situated in Bainbridge, Hancock, Ithaca, Owego, Walton, and Montrose, Pennsylvania.
