BINGHAMTON — Cowork Binghamton, a new office-sharing space for creative professionals located in the newly renovated Lackawanna Train Station in downtown Binghamton, will hold its soft opening on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

In the Aug. 23 issue of The Central New York Business Journal and in the Aug. 30 issue of The Greater Binghamton Business Journal, we reported that Cowork Binghamton would open on Monday, Sept. 16. However, the opening of the space had to be postponed due to construction delays.

This Friday, Oct. 4, Cowork Binghamton will also host an open house during downtown Binghamton’s First Friday event. Its first full opening week will start Oct. 7.

Shawn O’Hara, owner of Cowork Binghamton, says that five people have signed up for membership space so far. “I expect that number to grow rapidly after we open,” he says. “Coworking is a new concept in Binghamton, and many people want to see and experience the space before committing to a membership.”
