CRAIG MARCINKOWSKI has joined Fotokite as its senior VP of strategy and business development. He is tasked with building a team of sales and service staff to deliver support to the company’s U.S. public safety customer base. Fotokite is a startup with an office in the Tech Garden in Syracuse. Marcinkowski previously served as VP of strategy and corporate development for Gryphon Sensors LLC, an SRC company. He has nearly two decades of experience in the defense and aerospace industry, including profit and loss responsibilities, product development, software engineering, capture and program management, and domestic and international business development. Fotokite says it combines aerial and ground-based robotics with flight-control algorithms to create a kite-like tethered aerial camera system that can fly completely autonomously for more than 24 hours.
