SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The American Hockey League (AHL) plans to stream each game of the Calder Cup Finals on the website AHL Live at no charge.
The hockey games will be available for viewing from AHL Live on desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, and tablets, the Syracuse Crunch said in a news release issued Tuesday.
The Syracuse Crunch, champions of the AHL’s Eastern Conference, will face the Grand Rapids Griffins, the AHL’s Western Conference champions in this year’s Calder Cup Finals.

The first game in Grand Rapids, Michigan is set for 7 p.m. on Friday night.
The Crunch are the top minor-league team of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Tampa Bay Lighting, and the Griffins have the same status for the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings.
The Crunch and Griffins also battled in the 2013 Calder Cup Finals, which Grand Rapids won in six games.
