Crunch unveil logo for the Frozen Dome Classic

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Crunch today introduced the logo for the upcoming Frozen Dome Classic in the Carrier Dome on Nov. 22.

The logo features a blue, ice-encrusted Carrier Dome with icicles hanging from its “iconic” roof and the words “Frozen Dome” across the building’s side, the Crunch said in the news release.

The primary Syracuse Crunch logo sits in front of the Carrier Dome while hockey sticks cross the image’s background.

A red-colored Toyota logo tops the graphic. The Crunch on June 25 announced Toyota would serve as the event’s title sponsor.

Steve Luczka, a local graphic designer, handled the design of the event’s logo, the Crunch said.

The Crunch will face the Utica Comets in the hockey game.

Besides the Crunch-Comets matchup, the day-long hockey event will also feature an NCAA Division III matchup between the Utica College Pioneers and the Oswego State Lakers.

The classic will also include a law-enforcement charity game involving the Syracuse and Utica police departments prior the Crunch-Comets game.

Tickets to the Frozen Dome Classic are on sale now and range in price from $20 to $50, the Crunch said.

Discount ticket prices are available for groups of 15 or more people, the team added.
