ALBANY, N.Y. — Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday announced that outdoor dining at restaurants will be permitted in Central New York and six other regions starting Thursday.

Restaurants in the seven regions that have already entered phase two of New York’s economic reopening can reopen for outdoor dining beginning tomorrow. The regions include CNY, the Finger Lakes, the Mohawk Valley, the North Country, the Southern Tier, the Capital Region, and Western New York.

Outdoor tables must be spaced six feet apart, all staff must wear face coverings, and customers must also wear face coverings when not seated.
