SYRACUSE — Dannible & McKee, LLP Partner Christopher Didio has been named president of the Hospice Foundation of Central New York board of directors. 

Didio, an audit partner at the Syracuse–based accounting firm, has served on the Hospice Foundation’s board for the past several years. 

Didio has more than 25 years of experience performing and managing audit and accounting services to a wide range of privately held companies. He is a certified fraud examiner and has extensive experience in accounting and financing for companies in the health-care industry and not-for-profit organizations, according to a Dannible & McKee news release.

The Hospice Foundation of Central New York’s role is to receive, solicit, manage, and invest all charitable gifts from individuals, organizations, and foundations to help fund the mission of Hospice of Central New York to provide quality end-of-life care. 

The Hospice Foundation of Central New York generated total revenue of $699,000, including $596,000 in contributions and grants, in its fiscal year ending May 31, 2011, according to the organization’s most recently available federal tax return. The foundation’s gross receipts totaled $1.88 million in that same fiscal year.
