SYRACUSE — Data basics will be the topic of the next TenK Talk at the Syracuse University School of Information Studies (iSchool).
The talk will focus on concepts involved in data science’s usefulness in everyday life, according to the school. It will help attendees focus on how to increase their awareness of data and provide tips for how to cultivate an objective, analytical mindset.
The presentation will take place May 31 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in Room 011 of Hinds Hall at Syracuse University. Reservations are not necessary and pizza will be served.
Speakers will include Erin Bartolo, data science program manager for the certificate of advanced studies at the iSchool.
TenK Talks are informal presentations regarding a variety of topics in new technologies. They’re organized by the iSchool’s IT Services Department and are open to anyone.
