David A. Miller

The New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) recently appointed David A. Miller to the new position of legislative liaison for the association. He is well-known to NYWEA as an active member for several years who has been involved with its Government Affairs Committee. Miller most recently worked for the Onondaga County Department of Water Environment Protection, implementing asset management and Inner Harbor redevelopment, among other county projects from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, he was engaged as the NYS Community Program director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development since 1980. A registered professional engineer in New York state, Miller holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering, concentrating in environmental engineering and urban planning, from Syracuse University.
