SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Destiny USA says that, as of Thursday, shoppers are no longer required to wear a mask inside the shopping and entertainment complex.

Destiny USA’s decision is “in accordance with the state’s decision to drop its indoor mask mandate for businesses,” per a Wednesday evening statement from Pyramid Management Group.

However, shoppers should keep in mind that some individual stores could still require them to wear masks, Aiden McGuire, director of corporate communications for Pyramid Management Group, tells CNYBJ in an email.

“We are very pleased that the State of New York and the surrounding region continue to make progress rebounding from the pandemic. Hats off to all those who have done their part in bringing the difficulties of the past two years closer to an end and to all of our guests who have been fully vaccinated,” Pyramid Management Group said in a statement.

Destiny USA’s operating hours remain Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., per its website.
