SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Destiny USA will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic this Friday and Saturday in the complex’s Canyon area.

Destiny USA is partnering with New York State and the Wegmans pharmacy to provide this pop-up Johnson & Johnson vaccine clinic “in an effort to make vaccines more accessible to the community,” per a Wednesday news release.

The clinic is set for Friday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Saturday between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Appointments are suggested, but walk-ups will be accepted. To make an appointment, visit Wegmans.com

All New Yorkers 18 years of age and older are eligible to receive the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

“We are proud to partner with New York State and Wegmans to offer this clinic to not only our employees, but to the community we serve, as well,” Robert Schoeneck, general manager of Destiny USA, said. “We understand the importance and our goal is to assist in moving New York forward.”

In addition, Destiny USA will offer discounts and special offers to individuals who have been vaccinated on location, to incentivize people to receive their COVID vaccine. Individuals with DUSA on their vaccine cards can scan a QR code directing guests to a landing page on the Destiny USA website with a list of participating stores and special offers.
