SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Dough Life, a purveyor of edible cookie dough, has opened on the 2nd level of Destiny USA — across from the Apple Store in the Macy’s wing, the mall announced.
Dough Life is operated by Dough Boyz, both of which have a similar logo, as indicated on the company’s website, www.doughboyzdough.com.
The eatery features several flavors, including chocolate chip, s’mores, and red velvet. The dough is made with “treated flour and [excludes] eggs, making the dough safe to eat without baking,” according to a Destiny USA news release.
Dough Life serves the cookie dough chilled and scooped like ice cream into cones and dishes.
“Cookie dough fans have been pleading for the addition of a Destiny USA location,” Aiden McGuire, director of marketing at Destiny USA, contended in the release. “We’re excited to finally bring this sweet treat to all of our guests…”
Joseph Francabandiero, who Destiny USA describes as a Western New York businessman, owns the Dough Life operating at the mall, McGuire tells BJNN.
Francabandiero also owns the Dough Lifes operating at the Walden Galleria near Buffalo and at Crossgates Mall in Albany.
Besides the locations in Buffalo, Albany, and Syracuse, the company’s new website, www.edibledoughlife.com, also lists a Dough Life in Niagara Falls.
