SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Downtown Farmers Market will conclude its 47th season on Tuesday in Syracuse’s Clinton Square.

The seasonal, weekly event runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. It opened its 2019 season back on June 11.

To mark the season’s final day, staff members from the Downtown Committee of Syracuse Inc. will serve apple cider and donuts all day at the information booth for all farmers market attendees, per a Monday news release. The information booth is located closest to the Salina Street market entrance.

The market attracts dozens of area farmers and produce dealers, the Downtown Committee said. It offers fall staples, including pumpkins and gourds, squash, apples, cauliflower, broccoli and brussels sprouts. The market also has fall plants such as sunflowers, corn stalks and mums.

The farmers market attracts as many as 5,500 visitors per week, per the Downtown Committee.
