The Downtown Committee also noted that patrons can use social media and participate in a contest.
Those interested can take a photo of your food; tag @DowntownSyracuse on Instagram; tag the restaurant and use the hashtag #DiningWeekSYR for a chance to win a $100 gift card to a downtown Syracuse restaurant of your choice.
The Downtown Committee will pick three winners at random March 16 and they’ll be notified via private message on Instagram.
Downtown Dining Weeks began in February 2005. It was established to generate business during mid-winter, which tends to be a slower time of year for restaurants.
“We are excited to be partnering with Visions Federal Credit Union once again for the very popular Downtown Dining Weeks,” Merike Treier, executive director of the Downtown Committee of Syracuse Inc., said. “It’s amazing to see the continued community support and excitement around this annual event which is in its 19th year! With such a large variety of eateries participating, everyone will find delicious options to fit their palate. We hope once you experience the amazing dining options found in Downtown Syracuse, you’ll keep coming back for more throughout the year.”
