Dr. Joseph Bularzik

Dr. Joseph Bularzik has been hired as dean of the School of Science, Technology and Health Studies at Morrisville State College. Most recently, he served as the associate provost for graduate studies, continuing education and outreach for the Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates, which consists of 17 colleges and 20,000 students throughout the country. Bularzik’s experience also includes working at Abu Dhabi University, where he was the founder and director of the science division, director of the undergraduate students’ research program, and associate professor of chemistry. Prior to Abu Dhabi University, Bularzik was an associate professor of chemistry and director of student research at Purdue University Calumet, and held various faculty and research positions at Princeton University, the University of Notre Dame, Iowa State University, and Lycoming College. Bularzik received a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from University of California in Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Arizona State University.
