VESTAL, N.Y. — Dunkin’ says it has formally reopened its location at 3000 Vestal Parkway East in Vestal in Broome County.
The 1,600-square-foot, newly remodeled Dunkin’ employs about 25 crew members and includes Dunkin’s new restaurant design with a “modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements,” the company said in its Friday announcement.
The new elements include what the company calls Dunkin’ on Demand, an area dedicated to mobile pickups. Its members of the Dunkin’ rewards program who order ahead via Dunkin’s mobile app can get in and out of the restaurant “faster than ever before.”
“We are thrilled to be a part of Dunkin’s next generation store initiative and are excited to unveil this innovative new restaurant to residents of Broome County and the Vestal community,” Mayur Kaneria, Dunkin’ franchisee, said in the news release. “The new menu offerings and approachable atmosphere will grab the attention of Dunkin’ fans and help keep Vestal running on Dunkin’ for years to come.”
The remodeling effort lasted about six weeks, with the store closed from Oct. 9 through Nov. 21, Kaneria told CNYBJ in an email message.
Dunkin’ franchisee Sonraj Inc. also marked the occasion with a $3,000 donation to Make-A-Wish of Central New York in partnership with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.
Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ describes itself as the largest coffee and donuts brand in the U.S. with more than 13,200 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets. Dunkin’ is part of the Inspire Brands family of restaurants.
