Dunn Tire to hold job fair in DeWitt

DeWITT, N.Y. — Dunn Tire, a Buffalo–based tire retailer and auto-repair services provider, wants to add to its Syracuse–area workforce.

The company will hold a job and career fair on Oct. 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 5830 Bridge St. in DeWitt. The company’s available positions include auto mechanics, retail management, retail sales, part-time and full-time tire and lube technicians, delivery drivers, and warehouse associates.

Experience is not required, the company said in a news release.

Interviews and employment screening will take place on-site at the career fair, and qualified candidates may receive job offers from Dunn Tire during the event. To help expedite the screening and interview process, candidates are encouraged to register and complete an online application prior to the event.

Candidates will be required to provide two forms of identification, and the company encourages them to provide a copy of their resume. The company encourages a business-casual dress code for all interested candidates.

Dunn Tire expects on-site interviews to last about 15 minutes.

Established in 1973, Dunn Tire operates five retail locations in Central New York. They include Auburn, Camillus, Clay, DeWitt, and Mattydale.

Altogether, the company has 29 retail locations across a footprint between Erie, Pennsylvania and Syracuse, per its news release.
