EARLVILLE, N.Y. — Earlville Opera House (EOH) says it is seeking commercial tenants for a couple spaces that it owns.

EOH says it recently acquired an adjacent building storefront at 8 E. Main St. in the village of Earlville, which includes about 1,400 square feet of space and is currently under renovation. At the same time, EOH owns 12 E. Main St., a 1,000-square-foot storefront. It is now accepting proposals to lease these spaces.

Earlville Opera House itself is located at 18 E. Main St. in Earlville.

To “benefit both the tenants and the Opera House,” EOH is specifically looking for a business that relates to Opera House programming and/or can provide a “meaningful service” to the greater Earlville community.

For example, a preferred tenant would be a store selling musical-related items or a shop that has occasional live music or has a musical or artistic theme. But EOH says it will “thoughtfully” consider all business proposals.

EOH says the rent for the 8 E. Main St. space is $850/month plus utilities, and the rent for 12 E. Main St. is $650/month plus utilities.

In proposals, EOH is looking for the general concept for the business, your experience with this type of business, your experience with operating a business in general, an assessment of your resources for customizing the space for proposed operation, and any other information that would be helpful, such as market research or a business plan.

Those interested can submit their information by email to info@earlvilleoperahouse.com or by mail to EOH, P.O. Box 111, Earlville, N.Y. 13332.
