Ehlinger joins Community Wellness Partners as Presbyterian Home administrator

Bryan Ehlinger

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — Community Wellness Partners announced it has appointed Bryan Ehlinger as administrator of the Presbyterian Home for Central New York.

As administrator, Ehlinger is responsible for managing the oversight and alignment of Presbyterian Home for Central New York programs, staffing, and care with the organization’s “mission to help older adults create pathways to health and wellness by celebrating their unique gifts and talents and creating opportunities to continue to learn, love and grow,” the organization said in a release.

Ehlinger previously worked at the Oneida Healthcare Extended Care Facility since 1985, where he served as a certified occupational therapy assistant and department director. He later became an information systems clinical coordinator, the release stated. During that time, he returned to college and graduated from SUNY Technology Utica/Rome. After completing his administrator in training degree, he became the Oneida Healthcare Extended Care Facility assistant administrator. In 2002, Ehlinger was promoted to the administrator position.

Community Wellness Partners says it is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliation of LutheranCare and Presbyterian Homes & Services. Community Wellness Partners employs 980 people and serves nearly 1,300 older adults each day with home care, independent living and assisted living, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and more services.
