Emilija Postolovska has joined the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York as program associate in the Syracuse office. With an interest in research and policymaking, prior to joining the Health Foundation, she oversaw the development of a tobacco-free campus policy for Syracuse University. In addition to her work with the Health Foundation, through a grant funded by the American Cancer Society, Postolovska is currently assisting in evaluating the effects and benefits that patient navigation has on the mental and emotional health status of newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public health from Syracuse University, and earned a master’s degree in public health through a partnership between SUNY Upstate Medical University and Syracuse University.
