Ephesus installs lights at War Memorial

SYRACUSE — Ephesus Technologies, LLC, has completed installing its LED lighting system at the War Memorial Arena in downtown Syracuse.

Ephesus, based in Syracuse, designs and manufactures a range of LED lighting systems for the industrial, commercial, sport, and municipal markets. The system in the War Memorial allows the ability to control fixtures individually using a wireless network, according to Ephesus.

That allows for more flexibility, a reduction in energy costs, and ensures the arena can adapt to a range of uses, the company said.

In addition to Ephesus, TDK Engineering, Johnson Controls, and the Onondaga County facilities group worked on the project.

“We are fortunate to have been part of a very talented team who worked together to create a very successful outcome,” Ephesus CEO Amy Casper said in a news release. “This project is a significant step forward in our vision to become a leader in the development and manufacturing of LED lights.”
