Erie Materials

Erie Materials has made several promotions and new hires. JEFF ERHARD was named VP of purchasing at the Syracuse corporate office. As VP of sales, he created and led the company’s General Contracting/Architectural Department. Erhard first joined the company in 1992 and has held various sales and management positions. MISTY PETRIE was hired as controller in the Syracuse corporate office. She is a CPA. Petrie’s experience includes several years with a local public accounting firm and most recently served for two years as an assistant corporate controller for a local publicly traded manufacturer. AMANDA PERRINE was hired as corporate accounts receivable accountant. She came to Erie Materials with several years of accounts receivable experience. NEAL BRYDEN has been named general contracting sales manager. He has been with Erie Materials for more than 25 years in various sales and management roles. JOE SOBCZAK has added general contracting/architectural sales in Central and Southern New York to his duties. He is also currently the commercial territory manager. Sobczak began his career with Erie Materials at the Albany branch in 2007 and served as operations manager at the Williamsport branch. KATIE SCHMID has been selected as general contracting/architectural inside salesperson. Schmid joined Erie Materials as corporate administrator since 2013. MATT KAZMIERCZAK joined the residential estimating department at the distribution center in Syracuse. He started with Erie Materials in 2006 as a warehouse employee then joined the millwork department shop in 2008. RICK ROGERS was appointed the general manager of the Binghamton branch. He began his career in 1987 as a warehouse specialist and held other positions including delivery specialist, warehouse manager, and inside salesperson before becoming commercial products manager in 2001. DAVID DETORE, JR. was hired as warehouse manager at the Auburn branch. He has 15 years of management and supervisory experience.
