FOCUS Greater Syracuse, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to fostering community engagement, holds a monthly Forum series where experts discuss citizen-driven topics and engage with attendees through a moderated Q&A session. The October FOCUS Forum is designed to offer insights into the key priorities and strategies of local funders. Prominent figures from leading institutions such as the Allyn Family Foundation, United Way of Central New York, the Gifford Foundation, and the Central New York Community Foundation will come together to share their wealth of knowledge and participate in an engaging and enlightening conversation. The forum will feature an expert panel of speakers including; Nancy Eaton, president of the United Way of Central New York; Meg O’Connell, executive director of the Allyn Family Foundation; Frank M. Ridzi, VP of community investment at the Central New York Community Foundation, and Sheena Solomon, executive director of The Gifford Foundation. The forum is open to the public and free to attend.
