NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — Excellus BlueCross Blue Shield has opened its new Resource Center of the Mohawk Valley, a public-facing office that offers retail sales consultants to help those looking to enroll in health-insurance coverage.
The center also has customer-care advocates onsite for in-person visits about claims, billing, benefits, or any other questions existing members may have.
“We’re very excited to bring this valuable resource to New Hartford,” Tony Vitagliano, Excellus senior VP of provider-network engagement and Utica regional president, said in a news release. “The center is a perfect spot for members of the public to go to have all of their health-insurance questions answered.”
