Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare

Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare’s (FSLH) Adirondack Community Physicians (ACP) announced that Meira Yeger-McKeever, M.D. has joined FSLH’s ACP Orthopedic Group as an orthopedic surgeon. She previously worked as an orthopedic surgeon at multiple New Jersey medical centers including St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and Morristown Medical Center in Morristown. Specializing in sports medicine, Yeger-McKeever has served as the assistant team physician for the Baltimore Ravens NFL team, Baltimore Blast professional soccer team, Washington Nationals major league baseball team, and college sports programs including Morgan State, Goucher, Loyola, and Johns Hopkins. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida State University, and her doctor of medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School in Newark. Tina A. Maxian, M.D., Ph.D. has joined FSLH’s ACP Orthopedic Group as an orthopedic surgeon. Prior to joining ACP, she worked as an orthopedic surgeon for Schenectady Regional Orthopedic Associates. Maxian received her bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanics from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, her master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, and her doctor of philosophy and doctor of medicine in biomedical engineering from the University of Iowa.
