GENEVA, N.Y. — Finger Lakes Health announced that it has appointed Trisha Koczent as its treasurer and chief financial officer (CFO).

Koczent has more than 25 years of experience in health-care finance. Most recently she served as CFO at Auburn Community Hospital. Koczent oversaw all financial operations and departments at the hospital, including accounting and payroll, revenue cycle, patient accounts, health-information management, physician billing, population health, and materials management. Prior to that, she held various executive positions in health-care leadership in the Finger Lakes region.

Koczent received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College, near Rochester. She is a certified public accountant, a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and attended the Academy for Healthcare Leadership Advancement through the Healthcare Association of New York at Cornell University.

Finger Lakes Health is a not-for-profit health system that provides a full range of acute and long-term care health services to residents of the Finger Lakes region. The 635-bed health system provides services on three campuses located in Geneva, Waterloo, and Penn Yan.
