TYRE, N.Y. — Ciccino’s Pizzeria & Paninoteca has been selected to operate a quick-service restaurant in the food court of the upcoming del Lago Casino & Resort.

The del Lago eatery will be the third location for Ciccino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant, which also has restaurants in Waterloo and Geneva, according to its website. Founded by the Franzone family, the pizzeria has been in business for 20 years.

Ciccino’s Pizzeria’s menu includes New York-style pizza, calzones, strombolis, paninis, and salads, del Lago said in a news release.

The restaurant will be part of del Lago Resort & Casino’s 4,200-square-foot food court.

“From the beginning, del Lago Resort & Casino has focused on partnering with local tourist destinations, businesses, purveyors and agricultural bounties from the Finger Lakes region, and we are looking forward to offering our guests a wonderful meal from Ciccino’s Pizzeria & Paninoteca,” Jeff Babinski, executive VP and general manager of del Lago, said in the release.

Ciccino’s Pizzeria & Paninoteca is the first food-court vendor that the resort has signed up, according to Babinski.

Del Lago, a $440 million, 205-room hotel, spa and casino, will include a banquet facility, several restaurants, lounges, and a 2,500-person entertainment center.

Construction of Del Lago employs 1,800 workers and the venue will have 1,800 permanent jobs.

The casino and resort will generate more than $90 million annually in tax revenue for New York state and local governments, Del Lago contends.

It will open to the public in the first half of 2017.
