Gobel now serves as chief financial officer and security officer. He is a graduate of Ithaca College. KATHLEEN BARNES has been promoted to senior VP at the First National Bank of Groton. She joined the bank in 1992 as internal auditor and now serves as compliance officer, Bank Secrecy Act officer, and audit manager. Barnes is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo.
