First Niagara has promoted Ron Klein to divisional sales manager. He previously was regional sales manager for the banking and financial services company’s Central New York region.
In this new role, Klein will manage First Niagara’s mortgage team in both Central and Eastern New York, and will provide the strategic direction and leadership to the mortgage sales managers and operations managers to ensure corporate and divisional goals are met, the company said in a news release.
“Ron has been a high performer for First Niagara since he joined the company in 2012,” Frank Sardina, senior vice president, director of mortgage origination, said in the release. “He is known for his exemplary sales acumen, mortgage experience and leadership among his peers.”
Klein joined First Niagara from HSBC, where he held positions of increasing responsibility with a final role of regional sales manager.
He has been in the mortgage sales business for more than 15 years. Klein lives in Liverpool with his wife and three children.
