FRANKFORT, N.Y. — A Pennsylvania self-storage company has acquired the former Big Blue Self Storage facility at 111 Dyke Road in Frankfort.

The seven-acre site — purchased by Moove In Self Storage, based in York, Pennsylvania — includes 10 buildings. Positioned along Route 5S, close to 16,000 vehicles pass by the site daily.

“This property is a very exciting one for us,” Moove In VP of Operations Shaun Lewy said in a press release announcing the acquisition. “Located within seven miles to Mohawk Valley Community College, Utica University, and a satellite of Mohawk Valley Health System, this community is filled with opportunities.”

Moove In opened its first facility in 1998 and now operates more than 70 locations across Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, Iowa, and New Jersey. The company offers drive-up, interior access, and temperature-controlled self-storage units in a variety of sizes, outdoor parking at many locations, and a full retail shop in each rental office.
