FuzeHub to hold Wednesday Ithaca forum on helping manufacturers grow their business

ITHACA, N.Y. — Area startups and manufacturing companies can learn how to accelerate the growth of their business at a FuzeHub solutions forum set for Wednesday, Feb. 19 in Ithaca.

The event — titled “How to Build Your Manufacturing Business: Southern Tier Solutions Forum” — will give entrepreneurs and business leaders a chance to connect with resources, programs, and experts that can “help them optimize, expand and thrive in New York,” FuzeHub announced.

The forum is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rev: Ithaca Startup Works at 314 E. State St. in Ithaca.

Albany–based FuzeHub is the statewide New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NY MEP) center. It is hosting the Ithaca event in partnership with REV: Ithaca Startup Works and AM&T, the regional NY MEP center for the Southern Tier.

The NY MEP is a network of 11 organizations that provide growth and innovation services to small and mid-sized manufacturers across New York state to help them “create and retain jobs, increase profits, and save time and money,” FuzeHub said.

The forum also serves as a venue for industry professionals to speak with others who are active in the state’s “innovation ecosystem.” The connections developed Feb. 19 could become new customers, suppliers, service providers or referral sources, FuzeHub contends.

“Every company faces moments when they get stuck,” Elena Garuc, executive director of FuzeHub, said in a release. “Sometimes it’s a challenge they need to solve; other times they need new opportunities to optimize their operations or build new business relationships. This Solutions Forum will help companies in New York’s Southern Tier access the resources, programs and partners they need to keep growing and building, regardless of any challenge they may eventually encounter.”

The day’s agenda, a full list of speakers and registration is available at fuzehub.com/how-to-build-your-mfg-business, per its news release.
