SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse–based Galaxy Media has named Dana Loucks as its new CFO, replacing the retiring Mike Lucarelli.
Loucks begins his new duties on May 14, the company said in a news release.
Loucks currently serves as senior VP and chief lending officer at Solvay Bank, per his Linkedin page.
“We got to know Dana some years back as he was our banker for a period of time. His tremendous knowledge of finance combined with a wonderful personality made him my first and only choice to succeed our great CFO Mike Lucarelli, who is retiring,” Ed Levine, president and CEO of Galaxy Media, said in the release.
Loucks previously served as CFO of Aramatic Refreshment Services Inc. between 2003 and 2006, per his Linkedin page, and “he was longing to return to that type of environment,” Galaxy Media said.
Galaxy Media, headquartered at 235 Walton St. in Syracuse, describes itself as a privately owned, independent media group. It operates eight radio stations in Syracuse and five in Utica.
Galaxy Media also includes divisions that are focused on event planning, sports marketing, and digital media.
