WATERLOO, N.Y. — The board of directors of the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) has voted to have president and CEO of Generations Bank fill a vacancy on the board.

By a 14-0 vote, board voted in favor of Menzo Case succeeding Robert Kernan, who will now serve as the IDA’s chief fiscal officer, Generations Bank said in a news release issued Thursday.

The Seneca County IDA’s mission “revolves around attracting new businesses and helping existing businesses grow.

“I appreciate the opportunity to serve on the IDA board and look forward to the first meeting,” Case said in the release.

In addition to his responsibilities at Generations Bank, Case holds leadership positions in community organizations that include Habitat for Humanity of Seneca County, National Women’s Hall of Fame, the Merry Go Round Playhouse, New York Chiropractic College, and Women’s Right to Run, per the release.
