Goldberg Segalla

KRISTEN A. HAZLET and ERIN M. TYREMAN have each been elevated to partner in the Syracuse office of Goldberg Segalla. Hazlet counsels and defends insurers, employers, and third-party administrators in workers’-compensation matters before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. She is involved in every stage of the litigation process from inception through resolution, including conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and preparing petitions and motions. Hazlet has also represented employers in discrimination claims brought under Section 120 of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Law. Tyreman is an experienced litigator defending a wide range of civil-litigation matters from inception through trial. She is well versed in insurance defense, including personal injury, automobile, construction, labor law, municipal liability, dram shop, product liability, property damage, and subrogation matters. Tyreman has also represented clients in employment matters involving discrimination, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims. She also has extensive experience in all facets of real-property litigation including riparian rights, adverse possession, boundary disputes, premises liability, title disputes, and easement disputes.
