SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Goodies Mediterranean Grill & Cuisine has opened a second location in Syracuse’s Armory Square.

Goodies 2 began serving customers on Wednesday (Oct. 18).

The new location is on Walton Street, next to the Eureka Crafts store and across the street from sushi restaurant Sakana-Ya.

The menu will be the same as at Goodies’ first eatery at 3605 James St. in the town of DeWitt, according to Chucri Ayoub, owner of the restaurant.

Goodies offers traditional Mediterranean cuisine, such as gyros, falafel, and spinach pie, as well as pasta dishes and deli sandwiches.

Ayoub says he plans to hire two or three additional employees, but declined to say how many employees in total will work at the new restaurant.
