Goodwill Theatre names new members, officers

JOHNSON CITY — The nonprofit Goodwill Theatre Inc. of Johnson City has named William P. Fenwick and Judith D. Miller to its board of directors.

Fenwick graduated from Binghamton University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a partner at Mondorf & Fenwick, PLLC in Johnson City. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and has obtained AICPA’s certificate of educational achievement in business valuation.

Judith D. Miller is a life-long Southern Tier resident who graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She has been instrumental in bringing productions of the Rafael Grigorian Ballet from Elmira’s Clemens Center to the Forum Theatre. Miller actively supports the greater Binghamton arts community through volunteering and serving on the board of directors for Tri-Cities Opera, Rafael Grigorian Ballet Theatre, Broome County Arts Council, Roberson Museum and Science Center, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, the Discovery Center Foundation Board, The Red Cross, and many other community organizations.

The Goodwill Theatre also named the following new officers for its board: Lawrence J. Schorr, Chair Emeritus; Marcus O’Rourke, Jr., Chairman; Nancy H. Phillips, President; Dr. James Terzian, Vice-President; Debra L Andrako, Treasurer; and Kerin Flannery, Secretary.

The Goodwill Theatre, located at 67 Broad St. in Johnson City, put on 57 performances in 2012, attracting 6,800 in total attendance. It employs five full-time staff and two part-time workers, and utilizes more than 130 volunteers. The theatre’s 2012 operating budget totaled an estimated $450,000.
