UTICA, N.Y. — Utica Police are seeking a bearded white male who was wearing a Yankees baseball cap in connection with the robbery of the GPO Federal Credit Union Monday.
According to police, around 5 p.m. at the credit union branch at 2711 Genesee St., a man entered and handed a teller a note, and demanded money.
“He was given a sum of money and left the bank, fleeing south on foot,” police said in a news release.

Police shared several surveillance photos of a man in a dark coat, dark glasses, and a Yankees cap and said they wanted to speak with him. “At this time the male is not a suspect, only an individual we would like to speak to relative to the investigation.”
