Greater Oneida Chamber names Stabb executive director

ONEIDA — The Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce has appointed Joseph Stabb, of Oneida, as its new executive director.

He will manage the daily operations of the Greater Oneida Chamber and be its liaison to the community at-large. Stabb had been the interim-executive administrator for the Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce while the board of directors searched for a new executive director.

“It was a unanimous decision by the executive committee in our selection of Joe Stabb as the chamber’s new executive director,” C. Michael Hulland, vice president of the Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce board, said in a news release.

Stabb has worked for several years with government agencies, businesses, and nonprofits and most recently was the president/managing director of JS Consulting & Productions, LLC, according to the release. He is a national speaker on topics including marketing communications, fundraising/development, business management, and event planning and management. Stabb has also taught courses in digital marketing communications for Buffalo State College.

Stabb is a graduate of Oneida High School and earned his college degrees from Utica College and Keuka College.  

The Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce (www.oneidachamberny.org) is located at 136 Lenox Ave. in Oneida.
