UTICA, N.Y. — The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce announced Monday that it has selected the 10 finalists for the 2014 “Business of the Year Awards” to be presented next month.
John Zogby, senior analyst at Zobgy Analytics, will be the keynote speaker for the event, which is scheduled for noon on Dec. 10 at Twin Ponds Golf & Country Club in New York Mills. Networking and beverage tasting begins at 11:30 a.m.
Awards will be presented to winners in four separate categories, according to the chamber. The categories include Business with over 50 employees; Business with 50 employees or fewer; Not-for-profit with over 50 employees; and Not-for-profit with 50 employees or fewer. Finalists were evaluated and selected based on the following criteria:
