Tim Thomas has joined as chief academic officer, bringing leadership from Mohawk Valley Community College, where he expanded programs and secured major grants. Matthew Mroz has been named executive VP for strategic programs, with 15 years of expertise in technology commercialization. Dean Korsak, a retired military officer, has been appointed general counsel, bringing a strong legal and global operations background. Angela Wright has been named VP of intergovernmental affairs, after having led government relations at SUNY. Her advocacy expertise will be key in expanding the VICEROY Scholars program. With these leaders, Griffiss Institute says it is poised to advance STEM education, foster innovation, and strengthen national security.
