OWEGO, N.Y. – The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting event to formally open Hard Knox Boxing and Fitness in Owego next Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 11:30 a.m.

Hard Knox Boxing and Fitness, located at 59 ½ East Avenue, Owego, is a gym that teaches the fundamentals of boxing and also offers personal training upon request.

Jeff Sibley is the business owner and trainer.

Hard Knox Boxing and Fitness opened to customers on Sept. 8, according to its Facebook page. And, it previously held an open house on Aug. 16 for people to check out the gym before it launched.

Regular hours of operation are 12-8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Membership rates are $30 per month for adults, $20 a month for children, and personal training costs $20 an hour, according to the Facebook page.
