LORETTO

Loretto has hired LORISSA PLIS as the new director of nursing at The Commons on St. Anthony in Auburn. She brings more than 20 years of experience as a clinical nurse specialist and operations manager from several area hospitals. Plis holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Syracuse University, a master’s degree in nursing from Upstate Medical University, and a doctorate of nursing practice from Chatham University.

 

 

 

EILEEN EBERSBACH has been named the assistant director of the Social Work Department for Loretto Health and Rehabilitation. She has worked for Loretto for more than 20 years. Ebersbach will now focus on assisting with discharge planning, as well as continuing to provide leadership support and social-work services to residents.

 

 

 

 

TERESA MOSHER has been named director of education for skilled nursing. She has worked for Loretto Health and Rehabilitation for 32 years. Mosher has been in the role of nurse educator for the past 14 years, four of them as education manager. Most recently, she was instrumental in the successful implementation of quality-of-care initiatives and the LPN peer mentoring program.

 

 

 

ST. JOSEPH’S HEALTH

St. Joseph’s Health has named JORDAN D. JENNINGS director for acute care coordination in Syracuse. Most recently, he served as nurse manager in ambulatory surgery for St. Joseph’s Health. His experience also includes clinical nursing in the orthopedic specialties, and progressive management experience in orthopedics and substance-abuse care. Jennings previously served as a clinical supervisor at Crouse Hospital. He is a graduate of the registered nurse program at Crouse and received his bachelor’s in nursing from Le Moyne College. Jennings is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing administration and leadership at Roberts Wesleyan College.

 

ST. LUKE’S HOME

MICHAEL S. MCCOY has been named executive director of St. Luke’s Home for the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS). Prior to joining MVHS, he served as administrator of record for the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility on the St. Mary’s Hospital Memorial Campus in Amsterdam, New York. McCoy earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY Oswego and his MBA in financial management from Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts. McCoy is a licensed New York State Nursing Home Administrator.

 

TOTAL HEALTH PHARMACISTS

Total Health Pharmacists, PLLC has hired SCOTT PHILLIPS as business relations manager. He brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, most recently with Sunovion Pharmaceuticals. Phillips earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and was a captain while serving in the U.S. Air Force.
