BUFFALO, N.Y. — Ann Monroe, president of the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York, plans to retire at the end of 2016.

Monroe has served as the organization’s president since it began operations in 2003, according to its website.

The Health Foundation’s board of trustees has retained Boston, Massachusetts–based Isaacson, Miller to assist in the search for a new foundation president, Joseph Cozzo, board chairman, said in a news release.

Isaacson, Miller will have a position summary available online at imsearch.com within the next week. It expects to complete interviews for the position no later than this August, the Health Foundation said.

The Buffalo–based Health Foundation operates a Syracuse office at the Central New York Philanthropy Center at 431 E. Fayette St.
