Helio Health adds mental-health care to substance-use treatment center in Utica

UTICA, N.Y. — Helio Health says it’s added mental-health treatment services to its Insights of Helio Health at 500 Whitesboro St. in Utica.

The organization describes it as “integrated outpatient facility that promotes coordination of care” for anyone with a mental-health and/or substance-use disorder.

The staff at Insights is “excited” and prepared to broaden services, Jeremy Klemanski, president and CEO of Helio Health, said.

“The Insights outpatient team have historically worked with people with substance-use disorders [SUD] who also had mental health [MH] disorders, and because of their training, and preparation, and now certification, they can work with people with SUD or MH, regardless of what their other treatment needs may be,” Klemanski said. “We are happy to be able to expand access to mental health care in Utica and the Mohawk Valley.”

Insights of Helio Health offers open access to walk-in assessments seven days a week from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

In addition to Utica, Syracuse–based Helio Health also operates facilities in Rochester and Binghamton.
